Most students go to Bobst library. But not only students have access to Bobst Library, also faculty, and full-time staff with a valid NYU ID card have access. You can print and book study rooms, and just enjoy the nice view on Washington Square park if you are lucky enough to get a window spot on the upper levels.
But what a lot of NYU ID card holders don’t know is that they also have access to other libraries throughout the city, like the library of Columbia University Faculty for example. This might be helpful for people living uptown closer to the Columbia campus.
NYU Libraries:
Institute of Fine Arts Library
Institute for the Study of the Ancient World (ISAW)
Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences Library

If your are on a exchange with NYU, you will also get access at the libraries at the according locations, like the Georgetown University library and George Washington library in D.C.
Depending on your School and Status, you can print for free with your NYU ID card at certain locations. But in case you are unsure, just go to NYU SPS building in midtown: There you can print for free in the 5th floor computer room.
